The SOLARIS Xenon HID kit and halogen bulbs can are easy to install and can be done by any mechanic if you are not comfortable installing these bulbs and lamp conversion kits. Please read your current owners manual before replacing your headlamp bulbs. Please note your local and federal laws before using these bulbs in your vehicle. Sold only for off road use. Your owners manual will describe the changing of halogen headlight bulbs.
An independent tester had to say this about solaris halogen bulbs as compared to other bulbs:
While very close in sheer light output the Solaris and Piaa bulbs are significantly different in the color of the illumination they produce, just as their kelvin temperatures indicate. This time however, and surprisingly, the advantage goes to your Solaris bulbs, as they proved a much better match for most factory installed 9006 HIDs, which are or were, for the most part, 4000K. Given the fact that the PIAAs are also rated at 4000K, one would naturally assume that the PIAAs would be the better match, but the undeniable fact is, in test after test, it was your Solaris bulbs, not the PIAAs that proved the better kelvin match for the factory installed 9006 HIDs. The 9005, 4000K Sylvania Silverstar bulbs are a good, poor man's substitute for the far more expensive PIAA and Solaris bulbs, but not unexpectedly with the cheaper price comes poorer performance. In our tests the Silverstars couldn't match the light output of either brand Piaa or Solaris.
